AA's College Football Rankings - Week 3

TOP 25

As the smoke continues to clear, and the statistical pretenders are kicked off the mountain, we begin to see who may be for real.

Props to Oregon, showing no ill effects from the suspension of the Duck, cruising to an easy victory and a vault into the #3 spot. GO DUCKS!!!

Boston College continues this early part of the season to seem to be the class of a really bad conference, while Urban Meyer and the Gators leap into the #5 spot with another big statistical showing over yet another defense full of academically suspect SEC flunkies, which is kind of like making the stupid dog run after the stick when you don't actually throw it...

Meanwhile, a surprise to many, but not to "AA" is the victory of Kentucky over Louisville, which if any of you were paying attention, pounded with both fists...

And to the chagrin of the (excuse the term) "army" of anti-terrist xenophob....errr...."patriots" who can't find their jewels to actually enlist and fight, the South Florida Bulls take their rightful position in the Top 25...but behind Tulsa?????

Finally, the Big 12 remains in the lead with 5 in the top 25, with a three way tie for second with 4 between the Big East, Pac 10 and SEC.

BOTTOM 10

Congrats to Florida International for finding their way into the bottom spot this week, having lost not only the game, but obviously their "fight" in their loss to Miami Northwestern NFL Prep academy.

Marshall and La-Lafayette both join the slayed by 1-AA gang, and in the case of the Grazin' Cajuns, did it in fine style by getting blown out by McNeese St.

Syracuse gained ground in the race to the bottom with an attack even less offensive than Jessica Biel's ass...and finally...

A hearty life at the bottom of the pond welcome to Notre Dame, claiming a spot they have deserved for decades. Although it may be surprising that the Drunk Irish only eked in at the 111 spot, they were still helped by scheduling teams like Penn State, and not, for example, Troy and Western Kentucky...

111 Notre Dame 0 - 3 29.2
112 Rice 0 - 3 28.3
113 Syracuse 0 - 3 27.4
114 Marshall 0 - 3 27.0
115 Louisiana-Lafayette 0 - 3 26.4
116 Northern Illinois 0 - 3 24.8
117 North Texas 0 - 2 24.5
118 Temple 0 - 3 24.3
119 Tulane 0 - 2 23.2
120 Florida International 0 - 3 21.5
